February Favourites

Here's a look at some of the products that I reached for the most in the past month.

The Body Shop's 'Vanilla Bliss' is one of my favourite scents among their entire collection. This travel-size hand cream came in handy especially when I was on-the-go. It was an essential item in my handbag for the cold(ish) weather. It does a pretty good job of moisturising dry hands and gives out a"I-just-baked-cupcakes" aroma.

Bath and Body Work's 'Sweet Pea' fragrance mist turned out to be the one I threw in my bag all month. It smells as fruity as fruity can be! Plus points for it being a travel-size body splash.

Miss Claire's soft matte lip cream in the shade 13 and Revlon's color burst lipstick in the shade 65 Rosy Nude were the two lip products that I used whenever I needed to apply lipstick. Both of them are subtle nude shades and apply well. Of course Maybelline's Babylips was an absolute essential for chapped lips.

This has been an all-time fave since over two years and I absolutely adore this Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume.

I decided to try this product because a salesgirl recommended it and it was inexpensive for a serum. (Rs.230). I've only been using it since the last two weeks of February and it has been doing an adequate job. It does smoothen down the frizz in my hair and add shine. A word of warning - don't apply more than a pea-sized amount or it will make you look like you have oiled your hair.

I've heard great things about the brand Aveeno and was quite frankly ecstatic when I spotted it on the shelf of a store I frequently visit ('Beautiful',17th Road Khar). After quickly reading up some positive product reviews I decided to purchase it. So far I'm really happy with this cleaner - it's mild, effective and has a pleasant smell (which for me makes a difference).

This eyeliner by Maybelline has got to be the best discovery of February! The Colossal kajal was a huge success and finally they've come out with an eyeliner. I have to say it applies smoothly and it is easy to handle. The only downside, if at all, is that it takes quite some time to remove.
